Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

When the family home was emptied for sale, I chose a few items as mementoes. This teapot was my grandmother's. For the composition, I repeated (and reversed) the teapot's dragon design to create a tapestry; my inspiration was the Franz Bischoff still-lifes (with tapestries) featured in a recent exhibition at the Pasadena Museum of CA Art. So this is 'Dragon Teapot a la Bischoff'.'

Jane Thorpe

Jane was born and raised in Stratford, CT. Her father was a self-employed commercial artist who worked at home, which gave her access to both supplies and encouragement. She moved to California in 1973. Jane has been an artist all her life, working in different mediums and working at a variety of commercial art jobs. She earned a degree in Fine Art and says there is always more to learn. She started plein air painting in the 1980’s in watercolor. Since 2010, she has focused on plein air painting in oil. She finds that all the mediums she has worked in, all the jobs she’s held, all her life experience, all contribute to this latest passion.
