Description
This painting is the July 2nd full moon, when the "Provence In Beaumont" Paint Out group was challenged to do nocturne painting. This is the second painting that night, looking east. The clouds were fast moving and adding interest with their brilliantly lit edges. The porch light created a warm contrast to the celestial light. I was told the headlights on the far hill are cars driving down from the Idyllwild area in the San Jacinto Mountains. Highland Springs Resort, Cherry Valley, CA July 2015
